Banking, Finance and Insurance
The BFI Committee oversees the full spectrum of the financial services industry in Azerbaijan, including the banking, finance, and insurance sectors. Its mission is to enhance understanding of the Azerbaijani financial system, promote transparency, and contribute to the development of a strong and sustainable financial infrastructure that supports both economic growth and social progress.
The Committee focuses on issues that impact American businesses, Azerbaijan–U.S. joint ventures, and the broader financial environment in the country. Through its initiatives, the BFI Committee aims to facilitate dialogue between the private sector and policymakers, fostering an enabling environment for investment and innovation.
AmCham’s BFI Committee also works to raise awareness, share expertise, and strengthen cooperation among members by organizing discussions, inviting guest speakers, and engaging with government and regulatory authorities. Acting as an advocacy platform, the Committee strives to represent and promote the collective interests of AmCham members in the banking, finance, and insurance industries.
